Apple has gone big for the 10-year anniversary of the iPhone revealing three new smartphones at their annual launch overnight, held at the company's new campus in California.

The event began with a tribute to late boss Steve Jobs, who died in 2011, before half a dozen revolutionary products were unveiled. Get your wallets ready.

HERE'S THE BREAKDOWN:

iPHONE X (pronounced 10)
From $1,579 AUD, available for pre-order from 27 October, shipping in November.

This smartphone celebrates 10 years since the first iPhone changed our lives forever.

"This is iPhone X, the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone. The first iPhone revolutionised a decade of technology and changed the world in the process. Now, 10 years later, it is only fitting that we are here in this theatre, on this place, to reveal a product that will set the tone for the next decade," said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

- Say goodbye to the home button. It's been replaced with facial recognition technology that learns your face. Even if you change your image (hair, glasses, hats), it learns who you are. It also adapts over time as your face ages. It even works in the dark thanks to an illuminator.
-  It also includes wireless charging, the company unveiling a new block called 'Air Power' that can charge multiple devices at once.
- Forget the emoji, say hello to animoji! They use Face ID hardware to create custom 3D versions based on your own facial expressions.
- Apple Pay included.
