An Australian has been arrested after being caught with methamphetamine in Cambodia.

The man, whose passport shows that he was born in Orange, New South Wales, was caught trying to sell 40 grams of crystal methamphetamine to an undercover police officer, according to news.com.au.

Police seized drugs and other related materials from the man upon his arrest.

A urine test identified a positive result for drugs in the man's system.

Unlike some other countries, Cambodia does not have the death pealty, but the man could be looking at a lengthy period behind bars.
