A group of young Australian and Kiwi travellers have lost all their belongings in a shocking bus fire on the way to Gallipoli.

43 passengers were making their way to the Anzac Cove Dawn Service when smoke started coming from the engine of their bus and they were told to get off, the Sydney Morning Herald Reports.

"We were driving up a hill, then everything just shut off," New Zealander Melissa Peters said.

"We turned around and there's smoke. Someone yelled out, 'there's a flame'. We all just bolted off the bus."

Everyone on the bus escaped unhurt - however many people lost their belongings including passports and phones.
