Australian Actress Jessica Falkholt Has Passed Away

In sad news, it has been confirmed that Jessica Falkholt has passed away in hospital.

Just a few days ago Jessica’s life support was turned off following a horrific car accident on Boxing Day that took the life of her parents and younger sister.

This morning a spokesperson for St George Hospital released the following statement:

“On behalf of the family of Jessica Falkholt, St George Hospital has been asked to advise the media and the community of Jessica’s passing today at 10.20am.

Jessica passed away from serious injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on 26 December, 2017.

The family has asked for privacy during this very difficult time.

At the request of the family we ask that the media understands that no further comment or information will be provided.”

Our thoughts go out to Jessica’s family and friends.

According to 9 News, the crash occurred at the Princes Highway at Mondayong about 400 metres north of the Bendalong turn off and south of Sussex Inlet on the New South Wales south coast on Boxing Day.

Witnesses instantly rushed to free the passengers.

The car accident took the lives of Jessica's parents, Lars Falkholt, 69, and his wife Vivian, 60 and her sister Annabelle.

A 50-year-old man was also killed in the accident. 

According to ABC, police stated that the crash was caused by one car being on the wrong side of the road.
