In another headache for those travelling in or out of Bali, Jetstar has announced that all flights to and from the destination are cancelled after the wind has changed direction.
“There has been a sudden change in today’s forecast for this evening in Bali,” the airline announced on its travel alerts page. “As a result, some of our flights out of Bali planned for today have been cancelled.”
It is understood that affected customers will be contacted by the airline and will be able to reschedule once the conditions return to normal.
None of the airlines are taking the risk and operating to or from Bali due to the continued threat of volcanic activity.
Thousands of Australians managed to travel home from Bali yesterday after days stranded due to cancelled flights.
