Could Aussie tennis star Bernard Tomic be thinking about hanging up the tennis racquet?

That's what the world is questioning after a bizarre post-match press conference at Wimbeldon, where he's admitted he feels "bored" with tennis and has lost respect for the game.

His comments came after a crushing from No. 27 seed Mischa Zverev.

"You know I wasn't mentally and physically there, with my mental state to perform and I don't know why, but I felt a little bit bored out there to be completely honest with you," he said.

He then sassed one reporter who asked whether he'd thought of giving his tournament prize money back.

"Which money?" "The prize money," the reporter queried.

"Well if you ask Federer to give back $500 million would you, would he do that, or not?"

The reporter then clarified, "You were just saying you were bored out there.."

"Well, we all work for money. At 34, maybe I can donate to charity but, if you ask Roger if he'll do it, I'll do it."

Tomic pocketed $64,000 for the match, which lasted 84 minutes.

The reporter then asked if he's felt this "bored" in the past.

"Many times in my career," he said. "I'm sure you guys know that," he chuckles.

To make matters worse, there's now talk Tomic could face a sanction after admitting he faked an injury to get a medical time-out during the match.

"I just thought I'd try to break a bit of momentum, to use that as my strategy, because I was just playing very bad and feeling bad out there."
