The mother of a Brisbane woman missing in the UK after the weekend's London terror attack will travel to England in the coming days to continue a desperate search to find her daughter.

21-year-old Sara Zelenak became separated from her friends on London Bridge on Saturday night, which was the scene of the horrific van plough assault.

UK police haven't been able to shed any light on her whereabouts, while local hospitals say they have no record of Sara.

She's been in London since March, moving over there to work as a nanny.

A Facebook post by a family friend on Monday appealed for information about Sara, saying she usually rang her mother daily.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman in London told AAP that police had not yet released the names of the dead or injured and he could not help with a specific inquiry about Ms Zelenak.

"We are trying to locate people as best we can."

Sara is one of four Aussies caught up in the terror attack, fellow Brisbane woman Candice Hedge had her throat slit by a terrorists who stormed a pub in Borough Market, while Darwin man Andrew Morrison was stabbed in the neck on the street, walking up to the attacker thinking a fight had broken out.

DFAT are still working to confirm the identity of a mysterious fourth Aussie, believed to be missing.
