Accused Aussie drug smuggler Cassie Sainsbury has had her first visits from home, more than a month after she wound up in a Colombian prison accused of smuggling almost 6 kilos of cocaine in her suitcase.

The 22 year old South Australian's fiance, mum and sister were granted special permission to visit after a request by the Australian Consulate to have a day set aside for the face to face catch ups.

The family were flanked by TV crews on their way into El Buen Pastor women's prison... fiance, Scott Broadbridge, has signed a deal with Channel 7, while Cassie's mother and sister have sold their story to Channel 9.

The first photos of the visits have emerged.. showing Broadbridge arriving first with a bag of clothes, some snacks and a single red rose.

He spent some time with his fiance, before Mum Lisa Evans and sister Khala Sainsbury were granted an hour with her. They, too, arrived with supplies.

Both groups left separately and refused to speak to the media. It's understood the family have divided, and have selected different lawyers to work alongside - Broadbridge working with an Adelaide based service, while Evans and Sainsbury have engaged a Sydney lawyer.
