The family of accused South Australian drug mule, Cassie Sainsbury, have touched down at the same airport the 22 year old was arrested at exactly a month ago.

Mum, Lisa Evans, and sister, Khala, landed at Bogota's El Dorado International Airport Thursday afternoon, Colombian time, after a short stopover.

Channel 9's 60 Minutes crew (incl. reporter Liam Bartlett) was at their side, as part of the deal they inked earlier in the week.

Channel 7 was also there, peppering the family with questions including "why did you ask for a million dollars?" and "what will you spend the money on?".

The family refused to respond, or make comment.

Cassie was arrested on April 11, found carrying 5.8 kilograms of cocaine allegedly hidden inside 18 headphone boxes in her suitcase.

She and her family say she is innocent and was set up by a man named Angelo.
