Dozens of uni students have found themselves at the centre of a horrific mezzanine floor collapse at the Indonesian Stock Exchange in Jakarta.

At least 77 people were rushed to local hospitals after the walkway, which links two buildings, fell onto a busy foyer area at around lunch time.

Authorities say the majority of the injuries are minor, including broken bones. Already, at least two people have been discharged.

A tour group of accountancy students was on the walkway at the time, while local reporters have told us the foyer area below is often busy with tourists gathering and buying food and drink from a cafe.
