A Handy Tweak

Facebook could be about to do something you won't hate.

A new feature bundles notifications for Facebook, Messenger and Instagram in one place.

It means no more hopping between apps every time you get a notification - they'll just pop up in the one place in your Facebook app.

Right now only selected iOS users are seeing it according to Techcrunch.

Instead of the Messenger logo appearing in the top right corner, there's a profile pic and the number of notifications across all your accounts.

Tap on this and you'll see a new menu letting you check your Instagram, Messenger and yes, Facebook notifications in one spot.

"We are conducting a very small test to make it easier for people to discover and connect with the people and things they care about," said a Facebook statement.

"We’re exploring ways to help people switch more easily between their Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram accounts."

Facebook tests new stuff all the time with various groups of users but there's no reason to think why this one wouldn't stick.
