Falls Music and Arts Festical Festival has issued an update following last night’s serious crowd crush incident in Lorne.

Organisers confirmed in a statement that 19 people were hospitalised following the stampede-like incident, but stressed none of them are in a critical conditions.

Some of the injuries have included spinal, head, facial, hip and pelvic injuries.

The statement confirms that a further 60 people were tended to on site.

Falls also said in Facebook comments from their official page that they’ll be removing large sections of tent fencing for safety purposes.

Anyone wishing to contact people people at the event is advised to email [email protected], and a phone hub has been set up in the main arena for attendees to call home.
