Foxtel has released its new live and on-demand streaming service, Kayo Sports.

Kayo Sports features all sorts of sport, including cricket, AFL, NRL, basketball and soccer, and will broadcast them live as well as on-demand.

It means you can go back and watch a BBL game from the night before as well as your favourite footy game.

There's a spoiler-free mode to hide the scores if you're catching up on a sport, plus a split screen option if you want to keep an eye on two or more games at once.

It's based on computers, tablets and phones at the moment, but does include the option to Chromecast to your TV.

"Kayo Sports is a game-changing sports streaming service designed for sports-loving Australians," their website reads.

"Australia is a nation built on sport, and while our passion for the game remains, fans are changing.

"A new generation is emerging, a generation that doesn't play by the old rules. They travel, listen and watch their way. Yet, when it comes to sport, they are expected to obey the old rulebook."

The packages start out at $25 a month for two devices or $35 for three - a cheaper option than Foxtel's current sport offering.

Foxtel has previously hinted at launching a "Netflix of sport", registering the trademarks for Kayo Sports earlier this year.
