The Scots College has been forced to cancel its Physics HSC trial exam after several copies of the paper were stolen from school grounds last night.

The break-in occurred just hours before the exam was set to begin, with reports the school will expel any students found to be behind the theft.

Two copies of the exam were stolen from a storage cupboard.

Police are investigating the matter, and students have been advised that they would resit the test next week once a new exam is written.
