Earlier this week, the government announced that Australia would be getting its own space agency.

The aeronautical industry is worth around $420 billion, and the move is set to create thousands of new jobs.

While the government will detail its long-term space plans at the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, it seems as though the concept is already getting some traction online.

On Tuesday night, the Australia Research & Space Exploration website came to our attention - which bears quite an interesting acronym, as you can see below.

The website is '.com' instead of '.gov', which means it's unlikely to be very legitimate, but nonetheless ARSE (or its equivalent) is set to rival NASA - and gave everyone at this office a bit of a giggle.
