While promoting his new book Not For The Faint-Hearted, former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has taken to Reddit to answer questions about his life and political career.

In an AMA (ask me anything) thread, he covered topics ranging from the NBN to marriage equality - and even managed to get a few subtle digs in on the way.

When asked what was his biggest regret as Prime Minister, Mr Rudd replied "Being a little too trusting of others :)" - a clear reference to the clash with Julia Gillard.

And then there was this not-so-subtle discussion about Tony Abbott.

Mr Rudd also touched on some other important issues, such as his favourite pie.

And he also revealed that the 'Kevin 07' campaign could be making a (sort-of) comeback.
