A $760,000 broken down car caused traffic chaos during peak hour on a Calder freeway at 8:30am this morning.
The driver, Michael, had forgotten to charge the battery of his luxury Lamborghini after being overseas for a couple of months.
This resulted in the battery running down, leaving Michael locked inside the Lamborghini.
A VicRoads response team came to the rescue shortly after.
"It's not every day you see a broken down Lamborghini on the side of the road," a VicRoads spokesman told the Herald Sun.
The pricey vehicle was towed to Melbourne and traffic continued to ease
