Malcolm Turnbull Speaks Out Over Controversial Footy Photo
"It’s the craziness of social media."
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has responded to trolls who slammed a photo of himself holding his granddaughter and a beer while watching the Sydney Swans on the weekend.
The Prime Minister spoke to Triple M Melbourne’s Hot Breakfast this morning, saying he didn’t believe as many people were as upset by the photo of him with his granddaughter Alice, as reports suggested.
“I don’t think that many were. It’s the craziness of social media."
He said it was important to back yourself and move on.
“You’ve just gotta be yourself, as long as you’re comfortable in your own skin, be yourself, be natural. Anything else you end up being as crazy as the trolls on twitter.”
