If you're still getting across Tuesday night's Federal Budget, the good news is low to middle income earners across the nation are in for a "win".

That's according to Yellow Brick Road Executive Chairman Mark Bouris, who has praised the government's decision to pass on the projected surplus in the form of tax relief to 94 per cent of Aussies.

"If you've got two people in the family who are earning less than $87,000, they're going to get somewhere up to $1000 between the two of them." he told Triple M.

"That's quite a substantial amount of money. $1000 is a lot of money.

"That's a win as far as I'm concerned."

Mr Bouris, who's also behind Podcast One's The Mentor, said Scott Morrison's third budget recognised the wages of most Aussies hadn't "gone up for many years".

"I think that's a great recognition for small to medium income earners in this country," he added.
