Netflix has confirmed it will cut ties with Kevin Spacey amidst several allegations of sexual misconduct.

The production company behind his popular show House of Cards, Media Rights Capital, is trying to see if they can legally continue the show without, and Netflix has said they will no longer work with him.

“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey,” Netflix said in a statement.

“We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show.

“We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey.”

Gore was a biopic about American writer Gore Vidal.

Production on House of Cards was suspended on Tuesday, while Spacey’s agency and publicist both dropped him on Thursday.

The English police have also opened an investigation into Spacey after an English actor claimed he was assaulted by the Oscar winner in London.
