Netflix Set To Go Up This Tax Time
Binge Watching Just Got More Expensive
As of this weekend your Netflix subscription could cost you up to 20% more.
The company is taking the cheeky chance to roll out a price rise at the same time as a new online tax comes into play, by adding 10% GST to all digital content such as online video, games, apps and e-books.
What it will cost you per month:
Basic: $ 9.99
Standard: $ 13.99
Premium: $ 17.99
But heaps of new releases are set for our screens in July, so maybe it's worth it.
It's the first time Netflix has hiked subscriptions since coming to Australia two years ago.
