We're being treated to royalty with Prince Harry launching the countdown to his Invictus Games in Sydney tomorrow.

The Prince will arrive today and cast his eye over preparations for the games that will kick off in October next year.

The games which were founded by the Prince are an international Paralympic-style, multi-sporting event, with five hundred injured and sick servicemen and women from 17 countries to compete in over eight days - in a variety of sporting events.

"We wanted to go somewhere where they are absolutely sports mad and would really get behind our competitors." Prince Harry said.

The Prince will have a stack of public commitments while he's down under, there's reports he'll do a tour 2pm tomorrow at Campbell’s Cove (down near the Rocks) with Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

If you do spot him, maybe don't ask for a selfie. Last time he was here the Prince saying "Selfies are bad. Just take a normal photograph!"
