UPDATE: NSW Police Statement

"About 11am today, police from Green Valley Local Area Command attempted to stop a silver Toyota, with a pursuit initiated when the driver refused to stop.

"That pursuit was terminated on the M7 due to public safety concerns.

"The Toyota was sighted a short time later at Cecil Hills and another pursuit was initiated but was again terminated due to safety concerns.

"Several police units including POLAIR, the Dog Unit and Traffic and Highway Patrol searched the surrounding area, and located the Toyota abandoned at Bonnyrigg Heights.

"Subsequent inquiries led police to a house on Tenterfield Avenue in Hinchinbrook where a man and woman were arrested for outstanding warrants and taken to Green Valley Police Station.

"Investigations are continuing into the identity of the occupants of the Toyota."

Earlier On Triple M

There are reports of a pursuit on the M7 that could be causing some dramas.

Triple M understands there is a driver on the wrong side of the road through Hoxton Park.

A Triple M listener said: “There’s a stolen car being chased by Police that has gone onto the wrong side of the road on the M7 heading northbound, about 10kms north before the Camden Valley exit.”

Police have confirmed they have received a number of Triple-Zero calls and the situation is still unfolding.

Take care everyone and be on the watch for that one.
