If you're ever keen on adopting a pet, now might be the perfect time.

RSPCA is clearing their shelters this weekend, with pet adoption fees slashed to just $29.

The organisation has brought back its 'Clear The Shelters' drive to ensure all its pets can find a home.

For three days - starting this Friday -  cats, dogs, mice, ducks, rabbits, birds, ferrets, poultry, rats and guinea pigs are all up for adoption for just $29.

After running solely in New South Wales last year the event will be held across the country this year, excluding Western Australia and Tasmania.

"This weekend we’re clearing our shelters! We want to make sure every single animal finds their forever home, so we’re reducing all adoption fees to just $29 from this Friday to Sunday!" RSPCA wrote on Facebook.

All animals come with microchipping, desexing, vaccinations, vet checks and worming.
