The heartbreaking story of Julian Cadman who tragically lost his life in the recent terror attack in Barcelona will see his school community come together today.

The seven-year-old was with his mum in Spain for a wedding on August 17 when tragically he was killed, 15 others died and many more were injured when a van drove into crowds of people on the famous tourist strip of Las Ramblas.

Today, St Bernadette's Primary at Lalor Park will come together and remember Julian with a special fundraising event, with all money raised going directly to support his mum.

"There's been a lot of sadness as a result of this, as you would appreciate and this is a way the kids themselves can farewell their mate and their friend" Mark Rix from the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta said.

Students came up with the idea to dress up in costume in memory of Julian, who loved superheroes with Iron Man his favourite.

The day will see the Parramatta Eels, NSW Police, Sydney Thunder, Dance Fever, Ready Steady Go and supporters across the community turn up to show their support.
