Sunbeam Iron Recalled For Not Complying With Aussie Safety Standards

Sunbeam are recalling their Aeroglide Rapid Iron after finding that product is not compliant with Australian safety standards.

The product only had a single layer of insulation between the wiring and the top of the iron and because it is not compliant there is a possible risk of electric shock.

It affects the specific model number SR6370, sold between January and June 2017.

If you have this model, the advice is to stop using it immediately and return the product to Sunbeam for a full refund or higher value replacement product.
