A primary school teacher from Melbourne has lost an unfair dismissal case, after telling year 4 students bizarre stories about incest, murder and suicide.

Chris Adams allegedly went as far as using the students' names as characters in his stories.

According to The Age, one of the stories was about a priest urinating on a little girl, while another was about a student having a baby. Some of the other stories discussed a child falling in love with a marrying her brother.

The children were apparently told to keep the stories secret.

Adams was sacked in January 2017 after a series of parent complaints and then the Education Department ruling the stories to be an example of an 'improper manner.'

Adams took his case to Fair Work Commission, arguing he was wrongly dismissed, but lost.

Anne Gooley from Fair Work said the situation may've been different if Adam had not told students to keep their stories secret.

At this stage, Adams is still registered to teach with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. VIT says it will review Fair Work's decision.
