Loch Ness Monster watchers are worried. Big time.

Nobody has reported any sightings in the eight months since August 2016.

The "mythical creature", which some say roams the waters of Loch Ness has been dividing opinion since the 1930's, with stacks of tourists heading to the small northern Scottish town in the hopes of snapping a photo of Nessie.

It's been often described as being pretty big, with a long neck and one or more humps protruding from the water.

2016 was one of the best year's on record for sightings, with 8 reported in just a few months, but since then, nothing!

Locals are hoping coming into the warmer months with more people out an about, the sightings will come!
