Woman Thought She Bought An iPhone In Black Friday Sale, Got A Box Of Potatoes Instead

A woman has been the victim of a con for the ages, ending up with 11 potatoes instead of the iPhone she thought she was getting in a Black Friday bargain.

As the Black Friday sales continue, a video has surfaced online of a woman detailing how she gave $100 to a man driving a black truck with balloons and a sign reading 'Black Friday sale' taped to the side.

The woman, from Milwaukee in Wisconsin, said that she looked through the goods and laid eyes on the iPhone.

She was apparently told that the device was already activated and the first bill would pop up in mid-December.

However, while the display model she was shown worked fine, she arrived home to find that all that the only thing inside the box was 11 chopped potatoes.

And the final insult?

There was also an Android charger inside the box.
