BWS's alcohol delivery service has been extended to include Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne addresses!

Woolworth's alcohol brand, BWS, new delivery scheme initially launched in Sydney in September - but will now be available in select stores Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.

BWS Quick Delivery, much like UberEATS for food, will mean customers can have a beer in their hand within an hour of making an online purchase - and you'll be able to track their order with real time SMS and online updates.

BWS general manager Guy Brent has described it as a new step in the “evolution” of the local bottle-o.

The best bit, is we're told we can expect prices to be the same as in-store. It's also the first time a major retailer is delivering in evenings and on weekends.

It'll cost you $10 for most deliveries, but it's free for purchases over $100.

Customers should go online to check the location of their nearest BWS Quick Delivery store. The service will be expanding nationwide over the coming months.

Oh, and did we mention you can get your booze delivered with your Woolies grocery order, too?
