The Hunter's about to swelter through some true Summer weather, with the mercury to soar next week.
Temperatures are forecast to hover in the low to mid 30's from Monday to Wednesday, before cracking 40 degrees on Thursday.
Wallsend, Maitland, Singleton and Bulahdelah are tipped to reach 41 degrees.
It's set to be the Hunter's hottest day since February.
Coastal suburbs will be spared the intense heat, with temps at Nobbys forecast to hover in the mid 20's before reaching 31 degrees on Thursday.
