Dramatic Arrests In Wyee Following Fatal Shooting

UPDATE: Murder charges have been laid against a 24 year old Wyee man his 17 year old sister following a fatal shooting at Wyong.

Father of two Jesse Thompson died after being shot during a daylight driveby on Monday.

The accused were arrested near their home on Tuesday.

Their 48 year old father has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact.

All three will face court on Wednesday.

EARLIER: Three people have been arrested in relation to yesterday's fatal shooting on the Central Coast.

A 48-year-old man has been taken into custody after he was pulled over while driving along George Booth Drive at Seahampton just after midday.

His car has been seized for forensic examination.

While heavily armed tactical officers were involved in a dramatic arrest in Forest Rd, Wyee at around 1.30pm that forced the closure of part of Wyee and Woodville Roads.

A 24-year-old man was arrested, and a 17-year-old girl was taken into custody a short time later.

The car the pair were travelling in has also been seized.

The arrests follow the death of a 19-year-old who was fatally shot in Wyong yesterday.

Another man - aged 28 - was treated for injures at the scene.
