Grand final fever has hit Newcastle, with the city buzzing ahead of Saturday's A-League decider between the Jets and Melbourne Victory.
McDonald Jones Stadium is set to be a full house, with the FFA confident of a sell out.
Jets and Victory members have already bought 20,000 tickets.
“It’s fantastic that so many members of both clubs have secured tickets...within the first six hours of going on sale,” A-League chief Greg O’Rourke said.
The remaining 10,000 go on sale today - first to Football Family members at 10am, then the general public at 1pm.
Tickets will be available here.
Those who miss out on tickets will get the chance to watch the game on a big screen in the CBD.
"I've been speaking to the Lord Mayor and council is looking to do a live site in the middle of town," Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna said.
Hotels will be at capacity in Newcastle this weekend, with accommodation completely booked out as thousands of Melbourne Victory fans converge on the city.
According to Wotif, the only rooms available are at hotels in Williamtown, Heatherbrae and Raymond Terrace.
Flights from Melbourne to Newcastle are also sold out for Friday and Saturday.
