Man Given CPR By Family After Near-Drowning

A man found at the bottom of a pool has survived after being given CPR by his family.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Services says the 46 year old suffered a medical episode.

The near-drowning happened on a property north of Dungog on Saturday morning.

The man regained consciousness after relatives performed CPR.

He was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

Meantime, the Helicopter has flown a 62 year old man to John Hunter Hospital suffering suspected spinal injuries after he fell through a roof at Taree this afternoon.
