Police have confirmed the group of men involved have been in contact after a public appeal was made earlier today, and have thanked the public for their help.
Police have released CCTV images of five males who stormed Newcastle's King Street McDonalds, while in the nude.
The group entered the fast food restaurant at 6:40pm on Friday November 10.
Police say two of the men were seen to have an object covering their modesty.
Newcastle City Crime Manager, Detective Chief Inspector Peter Mahon said while the incident may appear amusing to some, there were several families with small children in the restaurant at the time.
“Police are investigating this display of offensive behaviour and are seeking assistance from the public to identify the males”.
If you know who they are, give Crime Stoppers a call on 1800 333 000.
