Police: Driver In Fatal Morisset Crash Blew 0.253

A man involved in a fatal crash in Morisset earlier this month is now facing additional charges.

Police allege the 40-year-old was driving a a Toyota Hilux along Marconi Road on November 11 when his ute lost control and collided with a BMW.

A 73-year-old passenger travelling in the ute suffered critical injuries and later died in John Hunter Hospital.

The man behind the wheel was later charged with high-range drink driving after he returned a reading of 0.253.

He's also been charged with with aggravated dangerous driving causing death and aggravated dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

The Dora Creek man has been handed conditional bail ahead of facing Toronto Local Court next month.
