Prisoner Escapes Cessnock Jail

The hunt is on for a prisoner who's escaped from Cessnock Jail.

Police say Jake Nunn escaped the minimum security wing of the prison this morning and remains at large.

The 18-year-old is described as Caucasian, thin and around 170cm tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing green shorts, and possibly a green t-shirt or jumper and joggers.

It's believed the Nunn could be headed to Kurri Kurri or the Central Coast - if you spot him DO NOT approach the man - call Triple Zero.
