It's looking like mostly clear skies during the inaugural Newcastle 500.
The Bureau of Meteorology has given its long-term forecast, with blue skies expected on Friday and Saturday and a very slim chance of patchy showers during the final day of racing on Sunday.
Weatherzone predicts similar conditions for the final race of the Supercars series.
Meteorologist Kim Westcott says racing fans can expect warm temperatures coupled with a cool breeze for most of the event.
"We're looking at pretty good conditions, pretty comfortable."
