Police say they've arrested 30 people for disrupting land clearing work at the site of the Roe 8 construction in Perth's south.
Officers swooped this morning, when protesters pushed down fences guarding the site where bulldozers have moved in to demolish parts of the Beeliar Wetlands.
"The senseless destruction continues to occur in Beeliar Regional Park, despite many non-compliance issues that the government have been made aware of including asbestos throughout the area," Rethink the Link spokeswoman Kim Dravnieks said
At least three activists remain in the treetops, staging a protest. One of them, Emma, has been up a tree for six days.
The Roe 8 is part of the $1.9 billion Perth Freight Link project, linking industrial areas of Perth with Fremantle.
