This week marks a momentous occasion in the history of football here in WA. It's the last time Fremantle and West Coast will meet in a derby at Domain Stadium (Subiaco Oval for the old schoolers).
Fans of footy and/or the West Coast Eagles might want to get down to Subi Oval tomorrow, as there is a community open day on at our home of football, which also features a West Coast open training session and a fantastic tour of the ground, including checking out the coaches boxes and players' change rooms, the media area AND the broadcast area, as well as a visit to the Hall of Fame.
What's more, punters are being asked to contribute to the Memory Booth experience - where you get your photo taken and share your favourite memory of the ground.
It doesn't have to be football related either. After all, the ground has held many, many events, including a visit from the Queen Mother in 1958 and record-breaking concerts (Adele, anyone?).
What's more, it was even the site of an outdoor cinema for fundraising efforts during World War One.
If you can't make tomorrow, fear not, there's another open day planned for August 10.
