Let's do more together - a theme festival goers will see trickling through the program as this years Seniors Festival rolls back into town.
The 2018 NSW Seniors Festival kicks off in Griffith today and run until April 15. This year, the even marks 60 years in operation celebrating its Diamon Jubilee Anniversary.
The festival is the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere with more then 500,000 people expected to take part in hundreds of free or discounted event on offer across the state.
Member for Murray Austin Evans said seniors should embrace this exciting program.
“There is always room in life for new experiences, so I encourage seniors to experience all that Murray has to offer during the Festival."

Its a part of the NSW Government’s vision under the NSW Ageing Strategy 2016-2020 for everyone to experience the benefits of living longer and enjoy opportunities to participate in, contribute to and be included in our communities.
The Festival is a key initiative under the Strategy that aims to promote inclusive communities.
Research shows that older people who maintain social connections report better quality of life and independence.
