$27 million for agricultural research in Southern NSW
Maguire welcomes pre-Budget announcement
Another day, another big funding announcement from the state government ahead of next week's Budget, with Wagga set to benefit from a $27 million investment into agricultural research and development in Southern NSW.
The money will help improve access to government services, pay for world-leading genome technology, pest insect and weed diagnostics, biosecurity emergency management, and upgrade DPI research facilities.
Wagga MP Daryl Maguire says it’s a clear message that the NSW Government understands the value of the Riverina’s contribution to food and fibre production.
