62 New Doctors for the Murrumbidgee Local Health District
Recruitment Drive Underway
The Murrumbidgee Local Health District has launched a recruitment drive for 62 new Junior Medical Officers, part of a larger contingent of 4,000 set to be employed by NSW Health this year.
The JMO positions are for doctors with at least one year of postgraduate work experience, 57 of them will be based at the Wagga Hospital, and five at Griffith Base Hospital.
Executive Clinical Director at Griffith Base Damien Limberger says it’s a fantastic opportunity for doctors to train in a range of specialties, and will have the chance to undertake rotations in different specialty teams.
