Administrator Calls It Quits
Says She's 'Borne the brunt' of Anger
Christine Ferguson has announced she will stand down as Administrator of the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council, saying she feels it’s the right decision for the new council and the community.
Ms Ferguson says while she has always put the long-term benefits of residents and the region first, she has borne the brunt of community anger, which at times has been personal.
She added that there are absolutely no plans for Gundagai to be de-merged, and she thinks it’s unfair that a small group continues to keep this expectation alive.
