Canola Crops Struggling

Dry weather and frosty conditions are proving quite the hazard for canola crops in the Riverina.

Farmers are set to lose millions in revenue as the plants' flowers are shutting down.

Land holders in the areas North and West are seeing their crops reduced to nothing, with farmers, especially in the Coolamon region, cutting their crop for stock feed and hay.

While the pinch isn't as bad in the South and East, New South Wales DPI agronomist Rohan Brill says areas that were looking strong and promising 10 days ago are now really struggling.
