Community leaders, stakeholders and students have attended a series of workshops in Wagga , to help plan for a growing city.

Council’s Manager of City Strategy, Tristan Kell - says the Recreation and Open Space and Community Strategy, and Activation Strategy, will play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable growth in the city and surrounds over the coming decades.

The workshops are the latest round of consultation in the extensive process to develop the draft strategies.

They’ll be put before Council’s August meeting, before being placed on public exhibition for more feedback.
