Cooke Provides Guanrantee on Local Policing
Says Changes Would Result in More Police
Nationals Candidate for Cootamundra, Stephanie Cooke has responded to a request from the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party, saying it’s a ‘no-brainer’, and she is more than happy to guarantee no downgrade of any police stations’ operational status across the electorate.
The request came in response to plans from the government to make changes to the organisation of policing, Ms Cooke also going a step further in her guarantee, and saying there will be more frontline police on the ground across the electorate.
