Coolamon's Ambulance station up and running
Five paramedics start work
Coolamon’s first ever Ambulance station is now up and running, with five full-time paramedics starting work at the $1.5 million dollar facility yesterday.
It comes after concerns were raised by the Australian Paramedics Association and former Member for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson over the original proposal to have only three full time paramedics supported by volunteers.
The five staff members will still be supported by seven volunteers.
