Wagga City Council will become one of seventy across Australia to sign up to the Climate Council’s Cities Power Partnership, vowing to take action to tackle climate change.

The CPP is a free national program created by the Climate Council that celebrates and accelerates the pollution reduction and clean energy successes of Australia in towns and cities.

Ours is one of 35 new councils set to take the pledge today.
Climate Councillor Professor Will Steffen saying local governments have an enormous opportunity to be part of Australia’s climate solution.
