Wagga residents are being given the chance to have their say on Wagga City Council funding priorities, projects and operations, with a suite of draft integrated planning and reporting documents now on public exhibition.

The city’s total operating expenditure budget for the coming financial year is more than $119.8M, council saying the documents are shaped around the community’s vision in the recently adopted Wagga View Community Strategic Plan, 2040.

Major projects include the completion of the Bomen Enabling Roads and Eunony Bridge replacement projects, starting work on the Levee Bank upgrade, multipurpose stadiums at Equex and Bolton Park, and upgrades to the Livestock Marketing Centre and Wagga Airport.
